Nuptials

October 7th, 2003

Well, it’s all over, and I’m delighted to say that everything went fantastically. Lara & I had a great, great day, and it was absolutely tremendous to see everybody – friends and family – come together and have a great time.

I’m so happy that I couldn’t resist buying some gerberas for my Wife (!) on the way home tonight, and actually announced my arrival back in the house with the words "hi honey, I’m home".

Many, many thanks to all of you who made the day so special for both of us. Photo’s aplenty will follow.

In the mean time, there is much for me to do before I get back in step with reality. The sites I have built for Tesco: Debut and Debut Club have gone live, but require much attention. I’m way behind in my reading after rejecting anything educational in favour of a recent Neal Stephenson (enjoyable, but no Crytonomicon ...although this looks promising) whilst we were away in Florence (bellisima!). And lets not even think about the thank-you letters everyone deserves, or the X-box my brother bought me… (more on x-box here)

The upshot is that, even though service has been incredibly patchy of late, I’m afraid you can expect more intermittence for a short while.

Please stay tuned, though – I’ve got a few half written pieces and some interesting ideas on marriage to work out of my system, and I know you can’t wait to hear them ;)
