Yesterday my latest eBay acquisition arrived from Japan: a set of 30 Pantone Kubricks. Since I first saw these on the Ningyoushi message board (a good source for plastic news) I knew I had to have them.

I know it’s wrong to covet material things, but these I love. They’re absolute beauties. Clear plastic figures on a translucent card. Now I have to figure out some sort of backlit display solution and they’ll be perfection. Click to enlarge.

And this seems like an appropriate place to link to tonystrading/my-collections – a site which went viral this week. Thanks to Tam for the link, and for her advice that collecting is a slippery slope. Hmmm.
