  • Oblique Strategies. Creative thinking tips by Brian Eno and Peter Schmidt:

    Both Schmidt and Eno realized that the pressures of time tended to steer them away from the ways of thinking they found most productive when the pressure was off. The Strategies were, then, a way to remind themselves of those habits of thinking - to jog the mind.

  • New Star Wars Kubricks on the way. Always some odd choices (Nien Numb?!). Nice.
  • I’ve just bought a DVD / hard disc recorder (Panasonic DMR-E85). Record your favourite shows straight to hard disc, archive the series to DVD then watch them the train! Let the "find me an empty tape" arguments end and the Sky+ style antics begin. £300, Richer Sounds. Recommended.
