WordPress

WordPress is coming. Some 5 years off the pace, Robotperson is about to enter the 21st Century with a dynamically driven web site.
What does this mean?
- I’ll be able to post from wherever there’s a web connection. This should hopefully mean more frequent posting – lunch hour links and that sort of thing.
- Comments. You’ll be able to leave comments on every post. If this starts to get out of hand I might have a rethink but for now, let the comments flow.
- Permalinks. Instead of a slowly shifting page content model, every piece of content will have it’s own url. This is good for my Google rank and encourages folks to link to me, which is also good for my Google rank.
- RSS. If you prefer to read updates in your own news aggregator then you’ll soon be able to. What is RSS?
- Search. You’ll be able to search the site like normal web pages.
- Look and feel will not change much, at least initially. You might not even notice the difference.
That’s about it. Check here for a sneak peek, and prepare to interact.
