Skype

Tonight, in the continued spirit of experimentation, I’ve added a Skype status indicator over in the right hand column. This shows whether I’m online with Skype on or not. Being available should amount to pretty much all of the time that I’m at home and at my desk - so maybe a few hours in the evening. It is with no small sense of trepidation that I say: please feel free to give me a shout if you see I’m around.
To get this status on the site I’ve used a Skype Wordpress plugin by 4visions.nl. It took a bit of hacking to get it behaving exactly as I wanted, but big props to them. Caller on line 1…
